Refund and Billing Policy
Refunds are given at our discretion for only the prior transaction or prior month’s billing, and only with a valid excuse and reason. If you are signed up for monthly billing, it is your duty to understand the procedure and process and continue and or cancel a continuing billing in time to not be charged. If you cancel your subscription, you will not be charged for future months but you will be charged for that month once it has started. If you have followed proper procedure to cancel billing but have had a technical issue in doing so, you must let us know by email immediately, but no later than 3 days after your failed attempt. If you have paid a review fee for a submission to a PeaceMatrix™, this does not guarantee acceptance of any of your ideas or content, or that it will not be revised in whole or part or completely changed. The review fee pays for our time in examining your proposed content submission whether or not it is accepted. If we do not accept your content, that is not a basis for a refund. We may, but are not obligated to provide a reason for any content not incorporated. We may, but are not required to provide a response as to why any content was not added to the PeaceMatrix™. Accepted submissions will usually be reflected within 7 days of submission.
Governing Law
Any controversy or claim of any loss or damage relating to PeaceMatrix™ LLC website(s) or services shall be governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of law provisions. In the unlikely event that a dispute arises, you must provide notice within thirty (30) calendar days by email to the official email address of PeaceMatrix™ LLC at admin @ thepeacematrix.org (retype without spaces) clearly describing the dispute, why you believe PeaceMatrix™ LLC is responsible and in a position to help, and your sought remedy. Please note that PeaceMatrix™ LLC is not responsible for the conduct of third parties and persons. By accepting these terms, you agree that timely providing of such notice is a precondition of any right to seek redress regarding any alleged dispute.
NOTICE OF DUTY TO ARBITRATE: If a dispute arises out of or relates to The Peace Matrix, the website, or any agreement, relationship, or the breach thereof, and if the dispute cannot be settled through negotiation, the parties agree to try in good faith to settle the dispute by mediation administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Mediation Procedures before resorting to any legal action.
Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this website or relationship, or your use of it, not resolved by mediation, shall be settled by arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. By using PeaceMatrix™ LLC and its website, products or services, including those of affiliates, you hereby waive your right to file legal action in court to seek redress for any alleged wrong. Any dispute between you and PeaceMatrix™ LLC, including its principals, owners, employees, agents, and affiliates, must be brought in commercial arbitration governed by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in San Francisco before a panel of three arbitrators.
If any portion of these terms and conditions are ever determined to be inapplicable by any court or arbitration forum or other authoritative body, all remaining terms shall continue to remain in effect to further the intent of the parties to be able to provide this website, information, and contents and limit any potential liability of The Peace Matrix to the maximum extent allowed by law.
